SIM2 (Safran-Isba)

Description
^^^^^^^^^^^^

Daily data from the model of surface scheme simulation (Safran - Isba) are made available by MeteoFrance on `meteo.data.gouv.fr <https://meteo.data.gouv.fr/datasets/donnees-changement-climatique-sim-quotidienne>`_.
These datasets contain atmospheric surface parameters and soil water balances obtained from the analysis of model simulating surface water and energy fluxes.
These data are available as space-time data projected on a regular grid of 8 km × 8 km, under the CRS epsg:27572, as one-decade files in the tabular CSV format.

GEOP4TH workflows
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

These data can be downloaded in an automatic and simplier way with the :func:`download_sim2 <download_sim2.download_sim2>` function, and standardized
(embed CRS, convert to geospatial format such as netCDF, standardize units, axes, attributes...) by using :func:`standardize_sim2 <standardize_sim2.standardize_sim2>`.

Such meteorological data can then be formated for specific applications with corresponding GEOP4TH functions, such as :func:`cwatm_meteo <cwatm.cwatm_meteo>`.
